Data retention
What is saved, why it is kept, and what happens when you request deletion.
Effective and last updated: October 11, 2026. This policy forms part of our privacy policy.
Retention by record type
| Record | How long and why |
|---|---|
| Account and membership | While your account is used to provide access. A deletion request initiates manual review of the account, associated personal information, and any specifically justified retention needs. It does not automatically remove data. |
| Service records, photos, signatures, and business documents | While needed for the company's service history and business operations. We review requested deletion with the company where it controls the records. A specific legal or contractual retention need must be identified before information is kept after a verified request. |
| Support and privacy correspondence | While needed to answer the request, document its resolution, or address a related security or legal issue. |
| Security logs and backups | Infrastructure providers may retain security logs and recovery copies under their service settings. A single retention period for all provider logs and backups has not been established. Individual records may remain in those copies after removal from the active service; immediate erasure from every provider backup is not available through the app. |
| Local routes, pending work, and recovery photos | These may remain on a device after synchronization or sign-out. The current app does not provide automatic cleanup of every local copy. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes app-managed local data according to the operating system's behavior; device backups and separate gallery copies may remain. |
Requesting deletion
Use the account-deletion page to request deletion of your account, specific personal information, or an authorized company workspace. Manual review identifies the request scope, necessary verification, removal steps, and any specific reason to retain a record. Sending a request does not itself delete information.
There is currently no automatic account-expiry or scheduled company-data purge. Requests are handled individually. A retained record must have a specific ongoing purpose; a decision to keep information is not a blanket exception for all company data. Where appropriate, removing personal identifiers can preserve a business record without retaining unnecessary personal information.
Completed service evidence
Completed reports, signatures, and related records help establish what work was performed. They may refer to other records in the company workspace. Deleting an account requires reviewing these relationships and any valid retention obligation. We do not describe simply disabling an account as deletion.
Before removing local data
Check that the app has confirmed synchronization and that there are no pending changes. Clearing storage before synchronization can permanently lose unsent work. If you have requested deletion, stop collecting new data for that account and ask us about pending work before synchronizing it.
Deleting information from our service does not remotely erase every device, downloaded export, recipient email, or personal backup. Company administrators should also remove authorized copies under their control when required. Restoring a backup can restore earlier information and requires a separate review of prior deletion requests; the app does not automate that review.
